Bryan| City and administrative headquarters of Brazos County, east-central Texas, USA; population (2000) 65,700. It is located 140 km/87 mi northwest of Houston, in a region that produces cattle, sorghums, poultry, cotton, and other crops. Bryan processes agricultural goods and its other industries include the manufacture of aluminium products, chemicals, concrete, electrical equipment, furniture, rubber goods, and dairy products. |
