Great Driffield

Market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, 30 km/19 mi north of Hull; population (2001) 11,250. The principal industries are milk-processing, flour milling, sugar refining, and the manufacture of agricultural implements, clothing, and optical instruments.
