Orme's Head

Limestone promontories near Llandudno, in Conwy county borough, north Wales. Great Orme's Head, lying to the west of Llandudno, rises to 207 m/680 ft above the Irish Sea. A cable tramway runs to the summit. The lighthouse has been converted to a hotel and there is a country park with nature trails. Bronze-Age copper mines are open to visitors. Little Orme's Head, 141 m/463 ft, lies to the east of Llandudno.
