Geologically, the island of Jamaica is part of the tectonically active Greater Antilles Island Arc environment. s Gaspar project, like it, occurs in the same Cretaceous volcanic rocks that form the backbone of the Greater Antilles island arc which hosts the giant Pueblo Viejo deposit in the neighbouring Dominican Republic. |
