Green, Eva (1980- )

French actor. Known for her sophisticated beauty she reached international audiences with her role of Sibylla of Jerusalem in Ridley Scott's 12th-century epic adventure Kingdom of Heaven (2005).

She made her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci's critically acclaimed erotic drama The Dreamers (2003), set in Paris in 1968 during the student riots. This was followed by Jean-Paul Salomé's crime adventure adaptation Arsène Lupin (2004).

She was born in Paris, the daughter of French actor Marlène Jobert and Swedish dentist Walter Green. After studying in London at the Webber Douglas acting school, she returned to Paris and performed on stage, including in Didier Long's Jalousie en Trois Fax (Les Molières award nomination) and Gerard Deshartes's Turcarcet, before appearing on several French TV series, including Tout le monde en parle (2001) and Comme au cinéma (2003). She also composed some of the music for The Dreamers.
