Greenwood Lake

Lake in Orange County, southeast New York, and Passaic County, north New Jersey; length 14 km/9 mi from northeast–southwest. It is situated 32 km/20 mi northwest of Paterson. The lake is a popular summer resort. The village of Greenwood Lake, New York, is on the northeast of the lake; population (1990) 3,200.

The daughter of Greenwood Lake, bred by Farnsworth Farms and campaigned by Robert Alexander, was consigned by Hill 'n' Dale as agent.
He previously served as the rabbi of Congregation Or Emet in Santa Clarita and the Jewish Community Center of Greenwood Lake in Orange County, N.
Meadowlake also sired Greenwood Lake, winner of the 1999 Grade 1 Champagne Stakes, and numerous other Graded stakes winners.
