Gregory Thaumaturgus

Gregory Thaumaturgus (c. 213–270)

Catholic saint and father of the Greek church. Born in Pontus, he was a disciple of the theologian Origen, and became bishop of Neocaesarea in 240. His writings include a Confession of Faith and a Panegyric on Origen. His feast is on 17 November.
