Grisélidis

Opera by Jules Massenet (libretto by A Silvestre and E Morand), first produced at the Opéra-Comique, Paris, France, on 20 November 1901. It was revived at the Wexford Festival, Ireland, in 1983. It tells how Grisélidis the shepherdess marries the Marquis de Saluces, who has the Devil test her fidelity.
