Guildhall School of Music and Drama

Conservatoire established in 1880 as the first municipal music college in Great Britain. It now offers courses in music, acting, and technical theatre, and is owned, funded, and managed by the Corporation of London. Since 1977 it has been housed in the Barbican, London.

After graduating from college, he studied piano and conducting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London, as a Rotary Foundation Scholar.
At age 17, he enrolled in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
