The Indian Oil Corporation has won a bid for a big stake in Libya's Gulf of Sirte. There was scarcely a country in the world that supported Libya's "illegal restrictions'--its "line of death'--in the Gulf of Sirte, or Sidra. 5 Km pipeline will connect the field to the Waha Oil Company's Samah production facility, from where an existing trunk line transports the oil to the Es Sider terminal on the Gulf of Sirte. |
