Gullane

Village in East Lothian unitary authority, Scotland, 31 km/19 mi northeast of Edinburgh; population (2001) 2,170. It has three local golf courses, the most notable being at Muirfield, founded in 1744, home to the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers,
