Höller, Karl (1907-1987)

German composer. He studied at Munich under Josef Haas, taught at the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt 1937-49, and became president of the Musikhochschule in Munich in 1954.

Works

orchestral and solo concertos, symphonic fantasy on a theme by Frescobaldi (1934), Gregorianische Hymnen; concertos for organ, violins (2) and cello (2); six string quartets, eight violin sonatas, cello sonatas, piano and organ works.
