hydrogen peroxide

Colourless syrupy liquid used, in diluted form, as an antiseptic. Oxygen is released when hydrogen peroxide is added to water and the froth helps to discharge dead tissue from wounds and ulcers. It is also used as a mouthwash and as a bleach and as a rocket propellant.
