Hadlow

Village in Kent, England, 14 km/9 mi southwest of Maidstone; population (2001) 4,400. Its most prominent landmark is the elaborate Gothic Revival tower known as May's Folly, at 53 m/174 ft one of the tallest follies in England. Originally part of Hadlow Castle (now demolished), it was built 1838–47.

St Mary's church in Hadlow is partly 12th-century; Hadlow Place dates from the late 17th century, and the Kent Farm and Horticultural Institute was completed in 1967.
