Halston (1932–1990)

Fashion designer Halston pictured with Martha Graham at a party held in her honour at Studio 54, New York City, USA, on 13 October 1981. His designs were noted for their chic and elegant style.

US fashion designer. He showed his first collection 1969 and created a vogue for easy-to-wear clothes that emphasized the body but left it free to move. In 1973 he diversified into loungewear, luggage, and cosmetics.
