Hambraeus, Bengt (1928–2000)

Swedish composer and musicologist. He studied musicology at the University of Uppsala 1947–56, and from 1957 worked for Swedish Radio, at the same time teaching at Uppsala University. He participated in courses at Darmstadt, Germany, being chiefly influenced by the work of Anton Webern, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and Pierre Boulez.
