Hansell, Kathleen (Amy Kuzmick) (1941– )

US musicologist and organist. She studied at the University of Illinois and took her PhD at Berkeley in 1980. She was a teacher and organist in Illinois and Iowa from 1967, and archivist at the Swedish Music History Archive, Stockholm, from 1982. Publications include Lucio Silla, for the Mozart Ausgabe, editions of Berwald and Hindemith, and Zelmira for Tutte le opere di G Rossini. She made contributions to Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians and other lexicographical sources.
