Harbaugh, Gregory Jordan (1956– )

US astronaut. His four space shuttle missions include the Atlantis flight in June 1995, the first mission to dock with the Russian space station Mir, and the Discovery flight in February 1997 to service the Hubble Space Telescope. He logged 818 hours in space and more than 18 hours of extravehicular activity. In 1997, he became manager of the Extravehicular Activity Project Office, and in 2001 he left NASA. Harbaugh was selected as an astronaut in 1986.
