Harbour Beach

City in Huron County, east-central Michigan, on Lake Huron, 45 km/28 mi northeast of Sandusky, Ohio; population (1990) 2,100. This summer resort, which also has commercial fishing, lies in an area where dairy goods are produced, and cereals (corn and wheat) are grown. It is known as the birthplace of politician and jurist Frank Murphy (1890).

Hotel partners include the Sheraton Bal Harbour Beach Resort, the Grand Bay Hotel, Loew's Miami Beach Hotel, the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort, the Sonesta Beach Resort Key Biscayne, and The Biltmore Hotel.
