Harrison, Audley (1971– )

English boxer who won the super-heavyweight title at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games to become Britain's first Olympic boxing gold medal-winner for 32 years, and the first Briton to win in the maximum weight class since 1920. He also won gold at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. He turned professional in May 2001, and knocked out the US boxer Michael Middleton in the first round of his first fight.
