Hartsdale

Unincorporated village in Greenburgh town, Westchester County, in southeastern New York State; population (1990) 9,600. Hartsdale stands on the Bronx River, immediately west of White Plains. It is a residential and commercial suburb with corporate offices and a retail district that serves much of lower Westchester.
