Hassan, or The Golden Journey to Samarkand

Incidental music by Frederick Delius for the play by James Elroy Flecker; it was composed in 1920 and first produced at His Majesty's Theatre, London, England, on, 20 September 1923, with ballets arranged by Mikhail Fokine. The orchestral suite was arranged by Eric Fenby, with instruments including camel bells, and first performed on British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) television on 1 August 1933.
