Hatto II

Hatto II (died 970)

German archbishop. He was archbishop of Mainz 968–70. He is said to have unjustly oppressed the poor and his name is associated with the legend of the Mauseturm (Mouse Tower) at Bingen, Germany, where he is reported to have been devoured by mice.
