| He studied composition in Kraków and Lwów (Lviv) from 1937 to 1940. From 1947 to 1950 he was music director of Radio Kraków and then emigrated to Israel, where he became director of the music library in Tel-Aviv. In 1957 he moved to Paris, France, living also in Vienna, Austria, where he worked for Universal Edition. |
