Hazelwood

City in St Louis County, east-central Missouri, 23 km/14 mi northwest of downtown St Louis; population (1990) 15,300. An industrial suburb, it manufactures such products as aircraft and car parts, furniture, and a variety of processed foods. It lies just north of Lambert–St Louis International Airport.
