Hebden Bridge

Town in West Yorkshire, England, on the River Calder, 13 km/8 mi northwest of Halifax, to which it is linked by rail; population (2001 est) 12,700. Hebden Bridge has cotton factories, dyeworks, and foundries. The chief industry is the manufacture of clothing.
