Heidelberg School
Group of Australian Impressionist artists (including Tom Roberts, Arthur Streeton, and Charles Conder) working near the village of Heidelberg in Melbourne in the 1880s–90s. The school had its most famous exhibition 1889, called the ‘9 by 5’, from the size of the cigar-box lids used.
