Heinemann, Edward H (1908–1991)

US aircraft design engineer. He worked as a designer and engineer for Morland Aircraft Corporation and Northrop before going to work for Douglas Aircraft in 1936. He left in 1958, becoming vice-president of engineering at General Dynamics Corporation in 1962. He retired in 1973. Heinemann was born in Saginaw, Michigan.
