Danish composer. He was a pupil of Berggreen at Copenhagen and Hauptmann at Leipzig.

Works

Paschaens Datter (1869) and Drot og Marsk (1878); incidental music for many plays, including Oehlenschläger's Palnatoke and Hauch's Marsk Stig; Rusk Cantata and cantata Tornerose (Sleeping Beauty); symphony; six string quartets; piano music.
