Helston

Market town in Cornwall, England, 16 km/10 mi southwest of Falmouth; population (2001) 9,800. Helston was made a borough by King John in 1201; from the reign of Edward I to 1832 it returned two members to Parliament.

Helston's traditional ‘Furry’ or ‘Floral’ Dance is held annually in May.
