Hennique, Léon (1851–1935)

French writer. A follower of the Naturalist school of writers (see naturalism), his novels include La Dévouée 1878, Un Caractère 1889, L'Argent d'autrui 1893, and Minnie Brandon 1899. He also wrote plays, such as Jacques Damour 1887 and La mort du duc d'Enghien 1888.
