Cisneros, Henry (Gabriel) (1947– )

US mayor and secretary of Housing and Urban Affairs 1993–97. As mayor of his home city of San Antonio, Texas, 1982–90, he gained a national reputation for being a Latin American progressive in charge of a large American city.

He wrote several books, including Target '90: Goals & Decisions for San Antonio's Future.
