Acetochlor-based herbicides are also gaining acres. DuPont Crop Protection and Dow AgroSciences LLC announce the two companies have reached an agreement under which Dow AgroSciences will supply DuPont with acetochlor and acetochlor plus atrazine premix herbicides for pre-emergence use in corn. The vegetation management industry has always struggled with an image problem, fueled by misinformed community and news groups that don't fully understand the science of herbicides and the benefits they can provide. |
