Herzegovina

Part of Bosnia-Herzegovina (which was formerly, until 1991, a republic of Yugoslavia). It covers approximately 20% of the country, and is commonly divided into upper (Visoka) and lower (Niska) Herzegovina.

In contrast to art works that are culturally understood to be born of one time and place but belong to all ages and all peoples--from Leonardos to the Buddhas of Bamiyan--books and other special collections materials--the sorts of texts and images once found in the national library of Bosnia and Hercegovina in Sarajevo--are usually perceived to be more closely bound in identity with a specific language, culture, and time.
Kareta, together with Zene BiH (the Bosnia Hercagovina Women's Group), the international Initiative of Women of Bosnia and Hercegovina (Biser), and other Croatian and Bosnian women's groups, has asked American attorney Catharine MacKinnon to represent them pro bono, with the National Organization for Women Legal Defense and Education Fund as co-counsel, as the United Nations begins its war crimes tribunal for atrocities committed in the territories of "the former Yugoslavia.
With this latest outsourcing agreement for Razvojna banka Banja Luka, EuroPlanet has contracts in place with seven banks in Serbia and Montenegro and three in Bosnia Hercegovina.
