The latter is a documentary film analyzing the evangelization process of the Herero people of Namibia and its long lasting aftermath by German missionaries from the town of Wupperthal.
In Namibia, 65,000 Herero (80% of the total Herero population) were systematically eliminated by the Germans between 1904 and 1907.
This was true of the North American settlers, the Australian colonists and the Boers who eliminated the Herero people of southwest Africa in the early 20th century.
