Namibia--Germany has offered a formal apology for the massacre 100 years ago of 65,000 members of the Herero tribe in Namibia by its colonial troops. Subsequent migrations found them in Great Zimbabwe, Zululand, southern Angola to found the Herero, and finally to Kongo proper.
