Hesse-Homburg

Former landgraviate (from ‘landgrave’, old German title of nobility) of Germany, composed of Bad Homburg on the right bank of the Rhine and Meisenheim on the left bank. The first of these regions is now part of the Land of Hesse, while the latter is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate.
