Highland Springs

Unincorporated village in Henrico County, east-central Virginia, 10 km/6 mi east of Richmond; population (1990) 13,800. It is a residential suburb, set in an area that was the scene of fierce fighting during the Civil War; Fair Oaks lies immediately to the southeast.
