Hillebrecht, Hildegard (1927– )

German soprano. She made her debut at Freiburg im Breisgau in 1951, as the Trovatore Leonora. She sang in Berlin from 1954 and in 1968 took part in the first performance of Dallapiccola's Ulisse there. She performed in Munich from 1961 and in Zurich from 1972, as the Marschallin, Ariadne, and Leonore. In 1967 she appeared at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, as the Empress. Her other roles included Tosca, Donna Anna, and the Duchess of Parma in Doktor Faust.
