Hindhead

Extensive hill ridge and common, forming over 5 sq km/2 sq mi of National Trust heathland and open woodland, 3 km/2 mi northwest of Haslemere, Surrey, England. Gibbet Hill is 277 m/909 ft high, while to the east of Hindhead village there is a natural recess known as the Devil's Punch Bowl. Inval and Weydown commons lie to the south of Gibbet Hill.
