Hinthada (or Henzada)

City in south central Myanmar (Burma), at the northern limit of the Irrawaddy delta; population (2001 est) 122,600. Products include rice, much of it produced in a large irrigated area to the east of the city, tobacco, and potatoes. The city is connected to the capital, Yangon, by rail.
