Hispano-Suiza

Car designed by a Swiss engineer Marc Birkigt (1878–1947) who emigrated to Barcelona where he founded a factory which produced cars during the period 1900–38, legendary for their handling, elegance, and speed.

During World War I the Hispano-Suiza company produced a light-alloy aero-engine for the French air force.
