Hodonín| Town of southern Moravia, in the Czech Republic, on the River Morava, 50 km/31 mi southeast of Brno; population (1991) 39,700. It is the centre of a district that produces oil, gas, lignite, and wine. Industries include sugar refining and glassmaking. There is a Renaissance castle and a baroque church. |
