Hogan, Paul (1940- )

Australian television comic, film actor, and producer. The box-office hit Crocodile Dundee (1986), the most profitable film in Australian history, and Crocodile Dundee II (1988), which he also co-wrote and produced, brought him international fame. The last in the series, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, was released in 2001.

Hogan was born at Lightning Ridge, New South Wales and entered the entertainment industry after appearing on a television talent show. Other film appearances include Flipper (1996), Floating Away (1998), and Strange Bedfellows (2004).
