Charlottenburg Castle in west Berlin, Germany. This is the only remaining Hohenzollern palace in Berlin, and is now a history and art museum. The decorative interiors and collections date from 1695. Art from Brandenburg-Prussia at the time of the Great Elector (1620-1688) forms a particularly strong component of the collections.

Former province of Prussia, now part of the Land of Baden-Württemberg. Its capital was Sigmaringen. It gave its name to the Hohenzollern emperors of Germany 1871-1918.

Hohenzollern formed an enclave of 1,142 sq km/441 sq mi in the region of Württemberg, stretching southeast from the Black Forest, and watered by the rivers Neckar and Danube.
