Hopatcong

Borough in Sussex County, northern New Jersey, situated on Lake Hopatcong, 23 km/14 mi northwest of Morristown; population (1990) 15,600. This lakeside residential and resort community has facilities for such summertime activities as swimming, boating, and fishing.
