Horner, Charles Albert (1936– )

US aviator. In a US Air Force career that began in 1958, he served in various operational and staff posts and became commander of the 9th Air Force in 1987. He directed US air operations in the war against Iraq in 1991.

He was born in Davenport, Iowa.
