Horowitz, Scott Jay (1957- )

US astronaut. His four space shuttle flights include the Atlantis mission in May 2000 to construct and supply the International Space Station, and a return Discovery flight in August 2001 to exchange resident crews and install the Leonardo module. He has logged 1,138 hours in space. Horowitz was selected as an astronaut in 1992.
