Hortense, Eugenie de Beauharnais (1783–1837)

Queen of Holland. In 1802 she married Napoleon I's brother, Louis Bonaparte, king of Holland. On the fall of Napoleon and his family in 1815, she fled to Switzerland. The youngest of her three sons subsequently became Napoleon III. The daughter of the Empress Josephine by her first husband, she was born in Paris, France.
