Hough, Stephen (1961– )

English pianist. He has appeared with leading orchestras in the USA, including the Chicago and Detroit Symphony Orchestras, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, and gives annual concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. He has also played with all the major British orchestras, and at the London Promenade concerts from 1985 (he performed Bartók's Third Concerto in 1993). His recordings include concertos by Brahms and Hummel, and solo pieces by Britten.
