Houser, Allen C (1915-1994)

Chiricahua Apache sculptor. The great-great-grandson of Geronimo, he garnered numerous honours and awards and exhibited widely around the world. In 1962 he was appointed head of the department of sculpture at Santa Fe's Institute of American Indian Arts.

He was born in Apache, Oklahoma.
